I strive to support and inspire individuals, groups, and communities to develop or further their skills in using textiles for creative expression by building relationships through collaboration and education.

I earned a Bachelor of Applied Arts at Ryerson University in Fashion Design and Production Management.  After working for several years in the fashion industry I chose to focus on Costuming. While learning a great deal from many talented artists in the industry, I developed a broad set of skills building costumes for The National Ballet of Canada and The Stratford Festival, among many other renowned theatres and companies. From

2015 - 2021 I enjoyed connecting with the Simcoe County sewing community as the owner of Spool Lounge, sharing my love of sewing while teaching quilting, hand embroidery, and garment making.  I continue to explore my practice in fibre arts while expanding my knowledge in other areas.

Aside from creating, sewing, and continually learning, I love searching for native plants to fill my garden, making popsicles and dreaming up costume designs with my daughter.
